Serving over 50 properties on the Island of Georgetown, Gott’s Cove Property Management, LLC is in the business of providing individualized property management services to owners of seasonal and year ‘round homes and cottages on the island of Georgetown and surrounding communities in the Mid Coast area of Maine.  Our services include: rental marketing and administration, housekeeping,  rental turnover, winter closedown and spring open up, as well as dwelling protection, security and inspection.

 

We want to help you get the most enjoyment out of your property.  Whether your renting for a few weeks out of the summer, or you need someone to open your place for the spring, or maybe you feel safer knowing someone is "keeping an eye" on your place for the winter, or replacing that rotting porch, or putting a shine on your place before company comes, we can help. Rich Start

Manager, Managing Partner

 

Rich and Carol Start began Gott’s Cove Property Management in June of 2005 after moving to Georgetown in 2003.  With over 35 years in Information Technology as a programmer, systems analyst, manager and consultant, Rich left the High Tech world to pursue two of the loves in his life: Houses and Maine – specifically Georgetown.  Since arriving in Maine, he has managed apartments in Brunswick and Freeport for a local realty company before starting Gott's Cove Property Management.    

Carol Start

Housekeeping, Managing Partner

 

Carol began her career as a talented floral designer.  In the 1980’s she started her own company specializing in wedding flowers.  As Head of Housekeeping for Gott's Cove Property Management, she brings the same sense of meticulous attention to detail from her floral work to the care and presentation of fine homes and cottages here in Georgetown.    

 

Jerry Jones

Rental Agent, Partner

 

Jerry joined the team at Gott’s Cove Property Management in January 2007 to specialize in vacation rentals. Jerry has more than 30 years of banking experience focusing on retail and mortgage banking, Jerry also spent a number of years overseeing the management of real estate, specializing in developing strategies and business plans to maximize asset value.
