Gott's Cove Property Management is in business to provide individualized property management services to owners of seasonal and year ‘round property in the town of Georgetown, and surrounding communities in the Mid-Coast area of Maine. We provide services in the form of: housekeeping, rental turnover, winter closedown and spring open up, periodic dwelling inspection, repairs and minor renovations.
Housekeeping: While you're enjoying your home or cottage with family or friends, it's often hard to keep the place just the way you'd like it. Our housekeeping staff will help you keep your home the way you want it to be. From a quick dust and mop to a full top-to-bottom deep cleaning, we can help.
Rental Turnover: If you rent your property yourself or through another rental agency, it's often difficult to be "on site" between renters. We offer a fast, thorough and efficient rental turnover service that will leave your property spotless for the incoming renters. Trash removal and laundry services are also available.
Close down - Open up: Let us take the hassle out of preparing your house for the winter or opening it in the spring. We can take care of shutting off or turning on the water and electricity as well as making things ready for the winter or a scheduling a thorough "spring cleaning".
Dwelling Protection, Security and Inspection: Perhaps the biggest worry about having a home or cottage is not knowing what's happening when you can't be there. Did that storm I heard about do any damage to my property? Is the power out? Is there enough fuel to keep the house warm? If my heating systems fails will the pipes freeze? What if there is a break-in or fire? We have answers to all those questions. It could be a simple "walk around" once-a-week in the winter, or a freeze alarm with battery back up that calls us when the temperature inside the house starts to drop. For more sophisticated security needs, we work with many of the security companies in the area to make sure that someone will respond in case of emergency. In addition, for properties we cover we are registered with the local fire department as the primary contact (if you're not there) in case of emergency.
Repairs, Maintenance and Minor Renovations: No house is without a "To Do" List of some sort. If we can help you reduce that list, please give us a call or email us. Most repair jobs we can handle ourselves. If we don't think we can handle it, we have working relationships with some of the most reliable and professional local trades people. Maintenance items need to be addressed on a timely basis to keep the value in your property. Let us help you stay ahead of those projects. Sometimes repair items can turn into what amounts to a renovation. That rotted board on the porch could lead to a new deck. In short, let us go over that "To Do" List with you to se where we can fit in.
General Information: When are the low bush blue berries ripe? Who can I get to perform a marriage? Where can I rent a boat? How do we get to East Vassalboro? Where can I get a load of loam? I want to come up for the holidays, can I get my driveway plowed? How can I get one dozen lobsters delivered to my house tomorrow? Whatever it is, if we don't have the answer, we know who does. Just ask.
