Perched high on a ledge on Georgetown's Bay Point, "The Lookout" is a three bedroom cottage with a large front deck. Built in 1927, this family-oriented summer home offers a comfortable living room with large stone fireplace, a galley kitchen and bath with a tub.  The guest cottage offers two more bedrooms and has its own bath.  Use of the washer and dryer are included.

The cottage has a majestic view of Popham Beach, including historic Fort Popham, which was constructed to protect the towns on the Kennebec River from the British during the War of 1812. A private beach is only a five minute walk from the house and Reid State Park as well as coastal fishing villages are just a short drive away.  The historic city of Bath is twenty minutes up Rt. 127.

Weekly rental is $750-$950.  Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.
