Located on the beautiful estuary of Little River overlooking Todd’s Point and the open ocean, this very comfortable two bedroom A frame style cottage is located in the private ocean side community of Indian Point. Step off the front deck and enjoy swimming in the tidal waters and relaxing on the sandy beach. This charming cottage provides a relaxing atmosphere of a remote island getaway. 

As gusts of this small private community, you will enjoy access to several sandy beaches, nature trails along the marshes, tidal sand flats, miles of beautiful rocks with spectacular views and a boat launch on a sheltered bay. On the other shore of Little River is Todd’s Point, the southern tip of Reid State Park, which is easily accessible at low tide. 

A great family oriented cottage awaits you in this cozy two-bedroom cottage. It has large picture windows in the living room and dining area looking out to Todd’s Point. This cottage has two bedrooms, one with a king-size that can be made into twins as well as a screened porch and the other bedroom has twin beds. There is a pull-out futon in the sleeping loft. There are 1.75 baths and a fully equipped galley style kitchen. This cottage will accommodate 5 people. 

Although most guests will stay and enjoy the amenities of Indian Point, others will take a 10 minute drive to Five Islands considered by many to be the most picturesque fishing village in the mid coast area of Maine. On the wharf at Five Islands enjoy a shore dinner of lobsters and clams while watching the working lobster boats. On the island of Georgetown you will find a general store, marina, two restaurants and a farm stand with fresh local vegetables, cheeses, wines and much, much more. 

A 20 minute drive up Route 127, you can visit the historic City of Bath with its maritime history and many old sea captain homes. While in Bath visit the Maine Maritime Museum as well as a variety of stores, shops and restaurants. A 40 minute drive from this cottage is the outlet shopping in Freeport, home of LL Bean’s flagship store. Antiquing is 30 minutes away on Route 1 in Wiscasset. For sightseeing, you will want to take a day trip to Boothbay Harbor one hour away. Portland is one hour south. 

Rates are $1200 to $1500 per week and $4000 to $5000 per month. Check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM on Saturdays. Linen and towels are provided and pets are welcome. Sorry no smoking. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.
