A unique contemporary style ocean front home with panoramic views of the open ocean. A relaxing vacation awaits you in this one bedroom open concept home with vaulted ceilings . . . the perfect setting for a romantic vacation. This home is located in the private ocean side community of Indian Point. As guests of this small private community, you will enjoy access to several sandy beaches, nature trails along the marshes, tidal sand flats, miles of beautiful rocks with spectacular views and a boat launch on a sheltered bay. From the living room and dining area you can enjoy watching the surf, waterfowl, sail boats and working lobster boats. At night, you will be relaxed by the sound of waves crashing on the rocks, the smell of the ocean air and the moonlight reflecting on the water. 

From the front deck you can see two lighthouses . . . Cuckolds Lighthouse and Seguin Island Lighthouse as well as Damariscove Island. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area next to the living room. The master bedroom has a double bed with great views of the crashing surf (even when lying in bed). There is a full bath next to the bedroom with a tub and a separate shower. There is also a full-size futon on the second floor. This cottage will accommodate 4 people. There is a laundry room with washer/dryer. 

For those who want to explore other parts of Georgetown, take a 10 minute drive to the beautiful beaches and sand dunes at Reid State Park or the quaint coastal village of Five Islands. On the wharf at Five Islands enjoy a delicious shore dinner of lobsters and clams while watching the boats go in and out of the harbor. On the island of Georgetown you will find a country store, two restaurants, marina and a farm stand with fresh local produce, cheeses, wines and much, much more. 

A 20 minute drive up Route 127 is the historic City of Bath with its rich maritime history and several old sea captain homes. While in Bath visit Maine Maritime Museum as well as many stores, wonderful shops and restaurants. A 40 minute drive from this beautiful home is the outlet shopping in Freeport. Antiquing is available 30 minutes away along Route 1 in Wiscasset. For day trips, you will want to do some sightseeing in Boothbay Harbor or visit the Old Port district in Portland, both one hour away.

Rates are $2000 per week or $7000 per month. This home is available from mid-July  to mid-September. Check-in is 3 PM and check-out is 10 AM on Saturdays. Linen and towels are provided. Satelitte TV is available. Sorry, no children or pets. Smoking is prohibited. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.
