The Lobster Buoy Cottage

A quaint and cozy cottage nestled in the middle of the small village of Five Islands considered by many to being one of the most picturesque fishing villages on the Maine coast . . . it’d real Maine! A great spot for a romantic get away to an area that is definitely not “touristy”. Only a short walk to a small private beach available to Five Islanders and their guests.

 A one bedroom cottage with a sofa bed in the living room will accommodate 3 people. It has a full bath with a shower. Linen and towels are provided.

 This cottage is steps away from one of the most sought-after lobster shacks in the mid-coast area yet only 40 minutes away from shopping in Freeport, including LL Bean flagship store. Scenic Reid State Park is a short 10 minute drive away. Visit historic Bath, a quick twenty minute trip up Route 127 known for its heritage including the Maine Maritime Museum as well as its large variety of stores, shops and restaurants. Antiquing available a thirty minute drive away on Route 1 in Wiscasset. Portland is one hour south. 

Rates are $600 to $800 per week. Shorter stays in June, September and October are negotiable. Check in is at 3PM and checkout is by 10AM on Saturdays. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.
