Located in Five Islands, this beautiful summer home sits high on a hill overlooking one of the most picturesque fishing villages on the Maine coast with views from every room of lobstering and boating activities. It is a two minute walk to the most sought-after lobster shack in the mid coast area where you can enjoy a shore dinner on the wharf. Lots of activities for kids with fishing from the pier, boat rentals, tennis and a basketball court . . . all located in the village.

 This comfortable and sunny home is only 1.5 miles from the beautiful beaches at Reid State Park and yet only a 20 minute drive to the historical city of Bath where you can visit the Maine Maritime Museum as well as a variety of stores, shops and restaurants.  

This furnished four bedroom home can accommodate 6 people. Has a glorious sun porch that creates a relaxing indoor/outdoor feeling or you can sit out in the yard while viewing the fishing village activities. The kitchen is fully equipped, but no garbage disposal or dishwasher. There are two full baths, one with a tub/shower combination while the other has a shower and no tub. Linen and towels are provided. 

This charming home is 40 minutes away from outlet shopping in Freeport, home of LL Bean’s flagship store. Antiquing is available a 30 minute drive along Route 1 in Wiscasset. Portland is one hour south.

Rates are $1,000 to $1,200 per week. Shorter and longer stays are negotiable. This home is pet friendly, but sorry no smoking. Check-in is 3 PM and check-out is 10 AM on Saturdays. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.
